Privacy Policy
How Waratah Connects collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information.
What information we collect
We collect personal information you provide directly to us, for example through our referral, contact, and careers forms, or when you call or email us. This may include your name, contact details, service needs, suburb, and, for job applicants, your work history and CV.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to arrange and deliver support, respond to enquiries, assess job applications, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations as an NDIS provider. We don't use it for unrelated marketing, and we don't sell personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We only disclose personal information where necessary to deliver the support you've requested (for example, to a support coordinator or plan manager you've asked us to work with), where required by law, or where the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requires it as part of regulatory oversight. We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How we store and protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including restricting who can access it and storing electronic records securely. Job applicant CVs are stored on our hosting provider's server and are not publicly accessible.
How long we keep it
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected. This is generally for the duration of any support arrangement plus a period afterwards to meet our record-keeping obligations, or, for unsuccessful job applications, for a reasonable period before secure deletion.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Privacy complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, you can raise it with us directly via our Feedback & Complaints page. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
